Wine Tasting Fundamentals Workshop

Do you often go wine tasting and feel like you’re just pretending to know something about wine? That’s how I used to feel until we took this class. It’s a fun experience while having the advantage that you’re actually learning something together with your date.

WHERE: Robert Ferguson Observatory – NEIGHBORHOOD: Sonoma – WHEN: Once a month usually on Saturday – PRICE: $3

Robert Ferguson Observatory is usually closed to the public but once a month where members of the community are welcome to gaze at the celestial bodies using 4 telescopes, along with docents to explain what it is you’re actually seeing.


Get your kinky on at the history San Francisco Armory

The tour is led by employees of a film studio that uses the building for producing adult movies. The highlight of the tour includes viewing of the facilities originally built for National Guard as well as the cinematic sets that have since been constructed for use as production studios.

Think dungeons with weird contraptions on the walls. Might not be suitable for first dates, but then again it could be just me.
